It does feel like (ETA: the general public might think) Trump won this debate. Biden seemed (completely realistically) old, while Trump seemed reasonable (only relative to past behavior, and seen through certain rose colored glasses).
I guess it’s all about expectations.

I don’t think I am an outlier as I know plenty of people in my age group that show better than Trump and Biden. I am just an average guy for my age.

I considered if it’d have been better to turn off the volume and put on closed captioning. Biden’s enunciation was difficult to understand several times.
Other countries might even chip in with Canada.
That was painful to watch. I saw some clips this morning.
Trump lies all the time but Biden did not come out well.
