Sounds like they were already planning to fire him before the season even began. I can’t recall any coach getting fired for a 2-3 start.

Saleh’s firing comes a day after he said he was confident the Jets would be able to turn things around after losing two straight games.
“There’s so much football to be played,” Saleh said Monday. "There’s so many things that we can get better at, and there’s so many things that we can continue to build on, the things that we are doing well.
“So, I’m not panicked. Nobody in the building is panicked.”
Apparently one of the things they can get better at is coaching.

I’m not so sure about that. He cannot make statements that make himself look panicked. I’d bet he felt his seat getting hot, but he’s got to say the right dirty white lies that make him seem optimistic.
What would have happened if he had said “We suck so bad that we’ll never win another game?”

It was definitely Salah’s fault that a 40-year old, soon to be 41-year old Rodgers was skip-hopping passes and throwing behind receivers after sitting out OTAs, and Breece Hall has been running like he has concrete shoes on. A different head coach will help out with all of that and more.

as estimates go, he was off by at least 1. they are getting the circus they bought tickets for. arodg moved his macafee appearance from today to tomorrow. according the tweet my son sent me, he will play dumbfounded by the decision to fire the coach, 1000% blindsided, before casually mentioning that jews control the huirricanes.

Is this a good thing or does this mean he was dragged out kicking and screaming?
Seems like a very insecure thing for the Jets to do. Could have just called his home to tell him not to show up and his stuff will be shipped to his house or to the NYG next door.
