My son was in Newcastle this evening and watched it on ITV on regular television. Don’t know if it is streamable though?
Rugby has a pretty good following in Canada so my regular cable sports channel has the games. Never sensed there was much interest in rugby in the USA.
Wow that was one of the great games. Ireland must be extremely disappointed. Still no progress beyond quarterfinals with such a strong team. How unlucky can you get?

I have always liked the All Blacks but they have won so much that I was cheering for the Irish this time. Crushing defeat for the Irish. They almost pulled it off in the last minute of play.
Won’t mention the score but the first half of the SA-France game even more entertaining than the Ireland-NZ game yesterday. Totally different style of game.
Yes, that was probably my number-one game so far. Both teams were really good at attacking play. France was deadly if they got into the 22 and SA was really good at those long kicks and runs on the wings. It came down to the smallest difference possible. Both teams played to their strengths and it was very entertaining.
I really feel sad because the big teams faced off against each other earlier than the semi-finals.
All Blacks dominating as expected. Skilled, fast, smart, strong team.
So if South Africa win, as expected, could be a replay of 1995. Revenge for the alleged food poisoning!
New Zealand is playing really well. Started off with an Argentina penalty and took 10 minutes to get the first New Zealand try but it never was in doubt. The second half was really impressive because I think they were better defensively. They didn’t give Argentina anything.
It is looking like England and Argentina will meet again in the number 3 playoff. Not the teams I thought would have a replay though I expect England to take the game.
Zero flow in today’s game so far. Disappointing after the exciting rugby we have been seeing

England deserved to win that one. Heartbreaking loss. SA did not impress. My money would be on the All Blacks on the Final.
I will be surprised if New Zealand returns from the point deficit given the red card. A bit disappointed that the final seems some what decided now.
New Zealand has come back hungry and gotten a try. Great play there. It is shaping out better than I thought after the red card.
I went for a bike ride after the first half as I figured the final result was preordained at that point. Disappointing final for as much of it as I watched. There were much more entertaining games in earlier rounds.
