That’s a bold assumption. Gotta buy mamma that new house. And pay all those upcoming medical bills for playing behind a Bears OL. Oh, and lifelong mental health therapy sessions. And don’t forget inflation. The money dries up quickly.
True dat, but after an entire offseason filled with hope and promises of a better team in the near future, it looks like the team is still quite bad, and that Justin Fields is a big bust.
Yeah, I think panic wasn’t really the right word. The real takeaway from the game is the realization that we’ve started the era where Jordan Love owns the Bears.
I’d need to know why panic would be the emotion. Honestly!
Panic that one has invested far too much emotional baggage in a team, for some reason (probably back to childhood – need a the rapist).
Panic that one has already placed a bet on the Over for Number of Wins?
Panic that their Season Tickets cannot even be given away to one’s worst enemy?
Panic that Friday is NFL Jersey Friday, ands you, By Law, must wear one of several Bears Jerseys?
I mean, Panic? You’re not on the boat that is sinking. You’re not employed by the team. High picks next year! Something to look forward to.
It’s pretty clear at this point that it doesn’t matter who the QB under center is, the result is the same. So I wouldn’t say the current QB owns the Bears. More like the entire organization
