Norway essentially pulled out of bidding for the Winter Olympics after refusing to infrastructure improvements designed specifically for the Olympics. That left China, with, what, the Himalayas for skiing?, as the only bidder left.

First time I’ve noticed PK specialists being substituted on in the dying minutes of extra time. Ironically, both of them failed to score.
Reminds me of the time Netherlands brought on the substitute keeper who was a PK specialist in the 2014 World Cup quarter-final shootout against Costa Rica - although he had more success.
