Picks can be submitted any time before kickoff, right? If I “go bold” any of the next few weeks I play chicken with outdoormanuary so he can’t piggy back.

Yeah if it’s a team he’s already played I won’t wait, but if I go big and he hasn’t used them I’ll try and wait.

Should be interesting. You guys have don’t have a huge amount of overlap in the teams already picked. (<50%) Lots of chances for different picks in a given week.

My plan was Miami if outdoorman did not, or take Jax this week if he took Miami.

FTR, this was why I was suggesting that picks at this point are done by PM instead of public. “Everyone” picking the same team effectively pushes the final competition to Week 17.
If we each had 1 loss I’d play straight up. But since I have a loss and he does not he can piggy back my team (assuming he has it available) with no risk since if the team loses I am out but he is not and if the team wins it just eliminates the same team for both of us.
And I still support public picks until week 17.
I would agree with you as even accidental piggybacking could be bad for you

Best way to avoid caring about piggy backing, get all your picks right. Transparency before Week 17 is best and easiest for host.
