You’d find that on the floor though.
I wouldn’t say it’s typically placed on the floor.
Oh, it did say placed on the floor…
Ninja’d!
Could also be those burrs you track in the house.
I wonder if it’s worth asking if it’s something people want in their house?
I would say that mud uses water.

Huh… wish I’d asked that earlier as it would have knocked out a bunch of other questions. Oh well.
I had a really gross thought…
cat poop checks all the boxes.
Does it smell?
Especially giving pause to whether or not it’s a solid.
Hmm, it won’t let me reply "++” because it doesn’t think it’s a complete sentence.

I was going for dust.
#15: I wasn’t really thinking about a single dust particle - so the word “object” threw me. And, as a group of particles, dust doesn’t act particularly solid-ly.
#18: I’m not sure if it is the dust itself or something like mildew that actually smells - but people talk about places “smelling dusty”.
#13: It’s pretty much common everywhere.
May I suggest that whoever cues the next series does so here:
Since no one “won” and is next, I’ll give it a go in that other thread
