20 Questions Game1

NOT AN OFFICIAL QUESTION:

I think it’s something that’s typically used in more than one location inside the home but not at a workplace, like slippers, pjs, condoms.

It’s an object though… not a category of objects.

A condom does not get daily use. You might use condoms every day, but any given condom is (hopefully) only used one time before it is discarded.

A given pair of pajamas gets used more than a given condom, but still not daily. They’ll go in the wash. In most climates they’ll be out of season for a bit.

That’s why I’m thinking watch or glasses.

I wouldn’t put too much weight on that wording, FWIW.

Is there a way we can get a ruling on that?

I feel like it would be flat out wrong to say that a pajama top gets daily use, and it would certainly be inaccurate to claim that a condom gets daily use.

Anything that is one-time-use does not get daily use.

If my item was “a pickle”, and I put a pickle on my sandwich every day, I would have answered #9 “Yes”.

It’s actually been more difficult than I expected to be consistent. #9, #11 and #13 have caused me distress… and I’ve admitted that I probably screwed up #11.

I’m thinking this game tends to work best as a road trip game because in that situation neither party is in much of a position to overthink it.

True! Ok, thanks for the clarification.

So shoes, underwear, etc still on the table.

I’m wondering if it’s something related to actuarying in some fashion.

Like a pocket protector (nerd stereotype) or shoes (extroverted actuary looks at yours, not his own). Not an official question.

I think y’all have enough questions left to just ask outright if it’s shoes.

Well shoes go outside the house a lot (although not these days) so maybe slippers would be a better guess than shoes.

I’m the kind of board-gamer that touches the Codename’s word before the team has made a consensus, so I am bad for this thread.

Ask if it goes on your damn feet.

Official question, does it go on your foot/feet?
