Zoom mishap... should I be worried?

That’s the inside of my knee.
If you’re wearing shorts, bend your knee like that, and center the camera right, the crook of your knee looks like a buttcrack.
So sometimes I take a pic of my knee like that and send it to my kids. They know what’s up. Which is why that pic is on my phone.

Yeah. I have a lot of gay friends, and none of them has seen a photo of my husband’s dick. I doubt one exists.

I was at the allergist the other day, taking a test to see if it’s now safe for me to take penicillin. (I used to be allergic, but i passed the test, yay!) and they wanted a bunch of “before” photos to see if i developed a new rash. I thought it was very tactful that that the medical technician asked to use MY phone to take those photos. I have since deleted them.

And i agree with all of this. Except that if it was actually your computer, and not a company computer that you hadn’t been using for work until just now, that might not be grounds to fire you even if they want to get rid of you.

I’m sure that if they really wanted to get rid of him they could make it stick in an employment at will state.

He’s allowed to possess legal porn on his personal device, of course.

But arguably it was his responsibility to not share that on a Zoom call.

That said, I agree that unless they were actively looking for a reason to get rid of OP they probably won’t do anything with it. Especially since it was just the file names and not actual porn that was being shared.

I might quit if it happened to me. Not because it’s that big of a deal or because I would be worried about being let go over it, but I don’t know that I could continue working with those people without forcing myself into a shame spiral every day. I’m not enough like Brene Brown to rise above a shame spiral. So I would probably remove myself from the situation.

If you can move on from it (and I hope you can), you should. Your boss doesn’t want to bring it up, it’s uncomfortable. Likely it will just be something everyone tries to forget.

Hell no, do not volunteer a signed confession.

No worries. 10 years from now when you are mega successful you will show them all up at the company reunion.

Just don’t make squeaking noises on the bus.

What led to anything believing you would not longer be allergic? Typical for them to just check or did a thing happen?

Medically relevant to my interests.

I went to an allergist for other reasons. She asked when the last time i reacted to penicillin was, and it was in my childhood. She said it was common to outgrown that, and she could test me. So we scheduled it.

I’ve thought about doing that. Never have gotten around to it. :woman_shrugging:

You can always try the “Damn kids” excuse.
