I voted 1, though I think I could get used to any of them. I do think the colors should be reworked though. They remind me of that spammy link landing page you get directed to when a website is down.

I like that 2 shows some topics that are recent in each box. But… there are a lot of categories. I have trouble envisioning what it would look like for everything.

That one felt like it would get cluttered to me.

2 is the cleanest I think.

It’s too bad that each user can’t select which format they want to see.
