Wasn’t even sure guess 3 was a valid word, and seemed extremely unlikely to be right, but might well be helpful if allowed (and it was: DIXIE). I wasn’t sure guess 4 was a valid word either, but nothing else looked right. and it was right

It will let you make guesses that are real words but not possible WORDLE words. The bot will then mock you for that.

When i have selected real words that aren’t wordle words, the bot usually says something like, “that was a really good guess, but I’m not allowed to suggest words that are that uncommon”.
I mostly pick weird words when i need something to check a bunch of new letters.
I was surprised that today’s word was allowed, honestly, but it was the only plausible word i could make with those letters.
