:swear: I had even made a list of good second guesses for my common start words, depending on the result of the first guess. That list had “CLOUD” as the recommended guess 2 for today. Before guessing, another possibility occurred to me, which I thought (and still do, except in retrospect) was a better one.

Now about today’s: So today, the same start, sort of, based on today’s start word. Saved second guess would have been MODEL. Something else occurred to me, so I went with it. As noted, first 3 letters of today’s second guess were wrong, and 5th spot told me there was a D in the first 3. GRR! Had it happened again? So of course I used MODEL as guess 3. Close, but no cigar. I probably should not have done that, since L was one of the first 3 letters in my actual guess 2. :duh:
