He can still lose the house majority in the mid-terms.
If he were to gut SS, that would be a possibility.
His advisors would point that out to him.
If the MAGA crowd were any normal politicians, I would say that they’d be concerned about electability of their party after they leave office. With MAGA, I am not so sure.
