Watching Cheers on Pluto. Starting with Season 5. Other four are on Hulu.
First, the episodes “start” after the credits. So, no cold opening??
Figured out that I have to physically rewind to the beginning of the cold open, but not all the way, else it will put me back to the end of the credits!
And commercials! Ugh! I mean, at 25 episodes per year, that’s 2.5 hours wasted per year, and I have 7 seasons left, so 17.5 hours wasted!
Oh, and finding it on Pluto was an adventure. There is a show called “Cheers” about snowboarders that pops up as the first choice. I haven’t gone back, but I’m guessing I’ll have top search again, and it won’t know where I ended (Ep 2?). And commercials!
While I’m at it: I set up AppleTV, cuz new credit card for spending with (for points for an upcoming expensive trip) provides free AppleTV for a year. Great. I set it up, watched some things for a day. The next day, wife is watching in the morning, but when I get home later, we go to the icon, and it says I have to sign in. WTF! It sends me several 6-digit codes to my email, which I enter into my phone. Nothing. then, suspends my account. Great.
So, no AppleTV, and time is ticking!
