I have never seen the anime. Watched the pilot episode and just didn’t get hooked, perhaps because I didn’t understand where it was going, or that it was deliberately over the top?
Rewatching Jury Duty. It came up at lunch yesterday, it’s so freaking good, and we are getting rid of Prime soon so it’s my last chance.

Watching the second season of Jury Duty, which I think is called company retreat.
I’m impressed by the guy they picked. He seems like a standup guy with high EQ. I’m surprised he’s only a temp, I think he would do well in management at a company. I’m only two episodes in.

Finally watched Heated Rivalry. It hit me in the feels a lot more than I was expecting.

episodes 4 and 6 were preempted for “ breaking news”
It wasn’t until the 3rd episode that I started liking it. I read the book afterwards, and the show followed it pretty closely. My son had started watching the series with his girlfriend and her mom, which must have been interesting.
Started watching DTF St. Louis last week, the 4th episode was released tonight. I think there are 3 more. It’s not what I expected, but I’ll see it to the end.
mentioned that to mrs f and…she wasn’t sure. I also hate waiting for release dates, so might have to wait another month to reach the “meh” you indicate.

Started up “Black and Jewish in America.” Been in my “Library” for a few months.
last 2 evenings I’ve binged the last season of Schitt’s Creek. I like how it gets me in the feels every three or four episodes. I appreciate Stevie’s arc the best; it feels very satisfying to watch her grow and transform. I know she’s not the main character, yet I think I enjoy her scenes most.

Started watching The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins on Peacock. It’s Tracy Morgan as a disgraced football star who is making a documentary about his life with Daniel Radcliffe. It’s pretty funny. Has the same feel as 30 Rock. I assume it has some of those people involved.

Agreed. Very funny, indeed. Not sure how far they can go with this. The amount of blocking this takes must be way up there.

We actually binged “Something Bad is Going to Happen” (Netflix) on Sunday.
No comment on plot, but I scored on identifying one of the actors that my wife didn’t recognize and in fact denied the identity until I confirmed it.
Was it the “rubbing the lotion or getting the hose” guy?
