He’s terminally ill and intends to take the world down with him?
Trump repeatedly threw around the slur while bragging about his relationship with Kim Jong Un, North Korea’s reclusive authoritarian leader.
“Do you notice, he said very nice things about me. He used to call Joe Biden a mentally retarded person, OK? So, don’t tell me about your stuff,” the president said. “[Of] Joe Biden, he said, ‘He’s a mentally retarded person.’ He was so nasty to Joe Biden, it was terrible. But to me—he likes Trump.”
It doesn’t appear that Kim Jong Un ever referred to Biden as “mentally retarded.”
But Trump has not been immune to North Korea’s name-calling, either: He was previously labeled a “dotard,” meaning someone who is slow and old. His supposedly cozy relationship with Kim has only become more strained since he reentered office.
Trump’s comments came amid a winding rant complaining that other countries had not helped to reopen the Strait of Hormuz (which only closed because of Trump’s decision to attack Iran).
Absolutely insane
Yet people chose him over Harris because “women are too emotional/irrational.”

Part of me wants to make a poll about whether the US is going to commit massive war crimes this week, as promised by Trump, medium war crimes, as Hegseth is wont to do, etc., but I don’t think that I actually want to see what people think.
Everybody knows that women will starts wars when on their period because they’re full of hormones.
Unless they’re menopausal, in which case they’re full of hormones and crazy and will start wars.
You’d never see Harris getting a FIFA Peace Prize.

I’m not certain about that.
As a lame duck faced with polling numbers that seem almost beyond redemption, I think he doesn’t give an eff what anyone thinks and his sociopathy has deteriorated into full-blown psychopathy.
Honestly, I find it reassuring that he wants to steal the oil because it reduces the chances of nuking Iran.
It doesn’t help that he has religious nutjobs around him who think it’s their job to speed the Apocalypse along

The way I remember learning it in school was that the reparations after WWI were part of the reason that Europe got Hitler and another war about 20 years later. But, the new approach after WWII had been a lot more successful in avoiding the next war.
But, I went to a public school in Detroit and Trump went to the best schools, so what do I know?
Same here with European history. The Treaty of Versailles was a disaster that created the crucible from which Hitler was created (and subsequently rose to power).
