Transgender trends and politics in the US

Someone may have screwed up his own argument…

I kind of wonder if this campaign is aimed more at trans people or girls in sports.

I base that in part on this story about the heritage Foundation going after women’s sports.

If you make sports unappealing to girls in school.with forced genital exams, it reduces the supply of athletes at the college level.

i believe boys are not subject to the exam in the proposal.

They probably want the results made available for anyone to see, so there is real proof. Cuz someone could easily lie about what they’ve seen. Cuz pedophiles, people are telling me…

This fun fact at the end, should have been right at the start:

It’s also worth noting that Yenor sets the tone for his “report” with a claim that “in 2024, a Tunisian man defeated a Chinese woman for the Olympic women’s boxing gold medal.” While he goes on to talk of the “spectacle of a biological male pummeling a female athlete,” his claim is transphobic and not based in any element of truth.

He’s alluding to Imane Khelif, who is actually Algerian. After her win, transphobes targeted her claiming that she was a trans and was assigned male at birth. While that went international with JK Rowling and Elon Musk chiming in, Khelif was assigned female at birth.

I’ve been amazed at the number of people who can’t cope with the reality that there are some people born with both male and female parts. Even in those cases they insist the person has to go in the male box or the female box. They can’t be allowed to exist somewhere in the middle.
