Is that what you call what I’ve got?
Gradually diminished over the past couple of weeks. It’s still slightly visible to me, but likely not noticeable to anyone else. I’m guessing insect bite.
Saturday I woke up with a moderate headache. I took one aspirin when I had my morning coffee and it went away.
Yesterday I woke up with a moderate headache and did the same. However the headache came back in the evening and I took another aspirin.
This morning i was awakened early with an extreme headache. I took 2 aspirin and it’s much better but I don’t feel quite right. The headaches have all been concentrated in the area over my right eye.
I don’t have frequent headaches. I don’t think I’ve taken any pain relievers this year before Saturday.
If it were me I’d see my chiropractor for a persistent headache that’s getting worse.
Good luck. I hope you feel better soon whatever treatment options you pursue.
I’d be headed to an urgent care if it’s lasting 3 days and getting worse.
It’s probably nothing, but I’d be worried about any number of low-frequency, high-severity issues.
(I have major reservations about chiropractors, for my two cents.)
I’ll go there tomorrow if it doesn’t improve. If it gets worse later today I might go today.
Ugh, it’s been almost two years, lots of PT, and 14 mos since surgery. I still have pain in this foot that gets worse the more I walk or am on my feet. The dr is pretty sure the ligament has healed. But it could be a cartilage thing or “Osteochondritis Dissecans” which I’m reading usually affects children? So I had to get another MRI and now I wait to find out if surgery is indicated while my year runs out on my met deductible.
I have never witnessed someone pulling off a tick that was embeded in the skin. My daughter had one on her and I tweezed it off (carefully). That thing had it’s bite as I was pulling the skin up pretty far trying to get that thing off. Mini T-2 didn’t feel good all day and noticed the tick when she showered. Went to the Urgent Care to get the meds… I think she’s going to be AOK
Yikes
I think I have tennis elbow. I think I did it while doing yardwork. Fortunately it’s in my non-dominant arm.
I took a couple weeks off from exerting that arm, but didn’t have much improvement. I bought a tennis elbow strap thing to use, and it did help greatly while doing some yard work.
It’s been over a month now since the initial problem, and symptoms haven’t improved meaningfully. Based on some reading, I’m not sure it’s worth going to the doc. Seems like they’ll likely just prescribe avoiding exertion and anti inflammatory meds until it’s better.
Followup to the post that started all this. I was randomly completely exhausted and non functional at times. Doc could find no reason.
It appears to have stopped, no reason why. I just dont get it anymore.
Exercises for tennis elbow fixed mine quickly.
For whatever it’s worth, when my wife had a case of tennis elbow that didn’t just get better, her doctor sentenced her to a few weeks of occupational therapy. When that didn’t resolve the problem, she was then referred to an orthopedist.
Orthopedist did some quick diagnostics, gave her a shot, and she was better in a couple of days.
I assume this was a cortisone shot?
Seems plausible, but I don’t know for certain.
Been dealing with a shoulder issue which I think is shoulder impingement (inflammation around the shoulder joint that is affecting the nerve there)
Was very painful initially (I thought I had pulled a muscle) but the issue didn’t really subside after a few months. I had to use higher doses of prednisone to keep the pain down at night (pain made it very hard to sleep at night) Been following the directions of a PT for physio for the last month or so and its improving a bit.
Still can’t put my right arm behind my back so i am getting a bit concerned. May need a shoulder scan and more medication (still have to figure out what type of medication would be good for this that is not Prednisone).
I’ve heard that being unable to put your hand in your back pocket with your palm facing your butt is suspicious for rotator cuff tear.
I heard that putting your hand in someone else’s back pocket with your palm facing their butt can lead to a rotator cuff tear.
