Back in the day, when I worked for ABC Corporation, they had a “Holiday Weigh in” where you go weigh in right before (American) Thanksgiving and weight out right after the (Gregorian) New Year. On the day of weigh-in, I’d be chugging water like a dry sponge submerged in a dunk tank. On the day of the weigh-out, I’d skip breakfast and nearly all liquids. It was worth it to get that sweater. ---

I pulled out an ice cream cone, then saw the ice cream sandwiches in the freezer, but I was too lazy to put the cone back. Then when I was eating the ice cream cone I remembered I originally intend to have a drink. Probably extra heaping of regret on Wednesday weigh in. ---

I regret not getting a law degree so I can help people out with various things they need done in the court system / making certain entities shell out money to do what they could do in about 15 minutes but won’t. Thanks, CAS, for telling me I should have done that some 20 years after I decided to be an actuary. ---
