Grade inflation has been so rampant (even at the Math and Physics classes level) in Undergrad that you have to rely on the GRE do more of the heavy lifting in grad school admissions.
Reverting back to tougher undergraduate grading will reverse that trend a bit.
I prefer the English grading system. An A starts at 70%. If you look at official grade converters, an English A-minus (67%) would give you a 4.0 (A) on the US scale.
