The MLS Soccer Thread

I’m not sad at all that the lowest seeded team knocked off the top team in the South Florida retirement league. MLS was doing just fine before they became the “look at us, we have Messi” league.

In fact, I’m happy that the Sounders will host MLS Cup if they can figure out how to beat the two teams from LA.

@ArthurItas Yes, I will buy you a beer if Seattle hosts Atlanta in the finals. Maybe Seattle will re-hire Gonzo as an assistant coach for the match.

Obviously. That’s why MLS didn’t want MLS teams playing in the US Open Cup.

This new cup season is still going on, right?

Well, Messi seems to not like ties:

Um, not sure who this Gressel guy is, but when your league opponents are happy when you tie, it’s not a good thing. When you draw twice instead of winning a match and losing a match, you are down one point in the standings. Yes, ties are bad, dumbass!

So is kissing your sister. But apparently not everyone knows that either.

John Herdman resigns as Toronto FC coach. Hard to say which was the bigger factor: Toronto’s dismal performance this year or his alleged use of drones while coaching the National Team.

This Cup tournament still going on?

OK, part-timer Messi wins the MVP, cuz all boats lifted in this rising tide, i guess.
