[ Electric car maker Tesla is releasing a new product that might not mix well with its famous automobiles.
During his appearance at the “Giga Fest” event on Oct. 9, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that Tesla would begin producing its own alcohol beverage, dubbed “Gigabeer.”

Musk did not give details on the beverage but did images of its container, which took design elements from the company’s “Cybertruck.”
While some were uncertain that the product was real, Tesla confirmed its interest in the product when the company filed for the "[Giga Beer] and “[Giga Bier]” trademarks with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
An additional trademark for “[Gigabeer]” was registered by Starbase Brewing LLC, a Texas-based microbrewery. Starbase claims to “develop new brewing techniques optimized for humanity’s future in space.”
It is unclear if Starbase Brewing is affiliated with Tesla, SpaceX, or Musk. However, the brewery shares its name with SpaceX’s launch site in South Texas.
This would be Tesla’s second endeavor into alcohol production. The electric car company launched a limited-edition Tesla Tequila in 2020 that sold for $250 on its website. Initially inspired by a joke tweet from Musk, the product had two runs and sold out quickly.
