Woot, almost breakeven on Uber today as it shot up 10%. It’s been doing terrible for the past 3 months. ---

Before my Europe trip I sold off about 1/3 of my holdings, partly because I wouldn’t be looking at them, partly because I was happy to be 1/3 in cash. Now the big question, will I buy back in anytime soon. Very curious what the implications of this Chinese company’s default and is it a sign or trigger of anything to come. ---

I’ve been burned on previous attempts to time the market, but if Evergrande collapses and the markets drop 5-10%, I’m tempted to buy in for another $10k on top of my semi-monthly investments. ---

He can’t keep money in his pocket long enough to be a thousandaire. Witness the fact he had 800 in Bitcoin and now he has 0 but a nice tattoo. On the plus side, I had in mind one more tattoo, but he showed me one that I think I’m going to add. He’s full of hunting and nature scenes, and is getting a geometric set of moose horns. Think I’ll get the same, based on the moose antlers of the moose I shot a few years ago. Then the unit circle for my masters, then that’s it. ---

Mine went down and I was sad, but now the numbers are green. I actually wanted to drop like $10k into Facebook yesterday but my partner said no. They think it’s on the way down, long-term… I don’t agree but for a little benefit I wasn’t going to contradict them. ---
