Salary after passing exam/obtaining designation

Judging by non-NYC ASA salaries, I assume that’s ACAS.

Could be either ACAS or FCAS.

In my experience, past the 5 year mark, it really doesn’t matter if you’re ACAS or FCAS. You should be FCAS if you want to earn the higher end of my range estimate. but you can still be earning under 150k if you are FCAS with 5 years if you are less than stellar.

I dunno what the COL adjustment is for NYC. This is based on my location of the PNW

My boss still struggles with the distinction between a CAS actuary and an SOA actuary, and also doesn’t know the difference between the A and the F.

I do not think I’m getting a raise post finishing the modules.

Is he an actuary?
