I’ve seen several supporter accounts claim it’s to get a drink, but that’s typically only for people who are remotely close to minimum drinking age which these people aren’t. ---

The comment below by Ted Cruz prompted me to read up on James Talarico to see why he is “ **radical, dangerous and does not represent the values, ideas or principles of the Lone Star State”**. My research indicates Talarico is a Christian who follows Christ’s teachings rather than a Christian Nationalist with prejudices against many groups. I guess Cruz is right: he sounds dangerous by Texas standards. **“Now, it’s time to unite to make sure that Texas stays Texas. James Talarico is radical, dangerous, and does not represent the values, ideas, or principles of the Lone Star State. Defeating him is critical,” he said of the Democratic Senate nominee.** ---

Talarico supports some measure of gun control, abortion rights, and has criticized ICE practices. Those are inconsistent with the values, ideas and principles of a lot of Texans. ---
