random/ happy thoughts? spouse just ran some numbers. in the last 8 months I’ve made as much as I normally make in a year. so that’s nice. where it all went to, I honestly don’t know.

Nope, each kid has to lottery separately. Fortunately for this school, those who are designated as gifted who also have a certain GPA get priority enrollment. Older son missed the GPA cutoff by 0.01, but I don’t expect younger son to experience the same.

Was just biking around the neighborhood, saw two policemen talking to a woman, I stopped to ask an onlooker what was going on. They didn’t know, but then one of the cops walks over, this woman threw a Twinkie at someone, and they called the cops on her. So, assault with a breadly weapon?

Amazon delivered my package today. Only they delivered it the neighbor two doors down - she texted to let us know it was delivered to her and she accidentally opened it.
Only the photo on Amazon is of the neighbor’s house in between ours and the house it was delivered to. With no package in the photo.

I must be lucky. we get so much Amazon stuff and I almost never have problems.
One time an envelope was ripped and there was no product. a couple of times they show a package ready to be delivered a few stops away……then I watch it to the other way…..to the next city lol. those packages eventually fail to be delivered entirely.
Other than that, no drama.
I see a few posts every week on our local NextDoor groups about parcels being dropped off in weird places with incorrect photos.
Don’t know about US/Canada, but in the UK its usually 3rd party couriers delivering these items and they have to deliver a certain number within X amount of time. This tends to create problems once in a while as the couriers get sloppy when pressed for time.
Spouse woke up 4am very ill. Emptying everything. Again at 630 and 830. She is having a rough day here, but been relatively episode free since mid morning.
Hope its not sonething i will catch!

Someone in my neighborhood has a yard sign that their daughter is a member of the class of 2033 at a local school. Seemed a bit odd to me.
