i arrived upon one that looked bad today. plenty of people out of the carious involved cars. a woman on the ground being assisted by some other person (not an emt type yet on the scene). lots of car damage i saw. i hope not much people damage. ---

Seems like newer cars are designed to take the impact instead of the people doing that. So the car is totaled but the people have only minor injuries. I definitely had the physical symptoms of a panic or anxiety attack after I got home. Exhausted and my heart was racing. At the scene I was definitely feeling shaky but my focus was more on the person that was actually involved in the wreck. Making sure the police got an accurate report. Making sure she had a ride home. (She was unable to reach a family member.) And I now realize that I have had these symptoms before but didn’t recognize them. ---

Yup, the passenger compartment is really rigid, and outside of that the crumple zones absorb the energy. Plus all the airbags, and side impact beams in the doors. I still love this video: [![](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/joMK1WZjP7g/hqdefault.jpg "Crash Test 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air VS. 2009 Chevrolet Malibu (Frontal Offset) IIHS 50th Anniversary") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joMK1WZjP7g) ---

When I was hit going across an intersection a while ago, it was a keep with a big grill on the front that did it. There was no damage whatsoever to that vehicle. I was kinda pissed that some of the energy that went into my body should have gone into damaging the jeep, but didn’t. ---

this is not random at all, but it isn’t either annoyed or happy either: I just realized that I just chose to listen to an album on Amazon Prime Music **because** the cover art looks like a fossilized poop. Still in jammies. Man, when I work from home I have to do laundry more often because I go through pajamas and run out. I had to wear workout clothes to bed one night last week. 😬 ---

I should get dressed when I get up since we sleep au natural but I pull on short or lounge pants and a t-shirt instead. Motivation improvement is yet to be seen but it’s going to have to appear this afternoon. ---
