If 60% of your constituents agree with something, how should you vote on a specific policy? If they think Trump is great, should you vote to impeach him?
It’s all a failure of something. Or it’s working as designed. But i don’t think it’s a flaw in the constitution.

I saw a quote in relation to the GOP and burrito prices and was a bit puzzled about it. The person claimed more or less that the GOP believed "the government should stay out of private business, maintain low taxes, and limit its scope to basic operations.
Has this ever been true? It seems like they’ve been obsessing about legislating morality for forever. They’ve constantly interfered in private business with tariffs, taxes, regulations, etc. to favour their supporters and punish others, and impose their views on morality.
