They think he’s Kingpin
Maybe they’re afraid of his cloud of stink (if that stuff about him wearing diapers is true)
General state of health of r voters means it might be true.
Lol
Worst case, you go defensive and out-walk him until he drops. Rope a dope.
If you’re MAGA faithful, you believe he’s a fighter pilot, a superhero, the Messiah…I mean a “doctor”, and several other things
Who would want to fight such a remarkable person?
Politico has this article from one of the authors of the 25th Amendment, who seeks to clarify what its actual intent was:

A big thank you to Donald Trump.
In less stupid times, I wouldn’t necessarily see this as a problematic headline (although the devil would, of course, be in the details).
In past lives, I have been aware of internal discussions along the lines of “we think there’s a problem; we can’t explore the problem to evaluate what we need to do to fix it, because if the wrong regulator got wind, we’d be cooked”.
A mechanism of “if there’s a problem, disclose and you’ll have relative safe harbor; but if we find out on our own, you’re toast” would be a good way to alleviate the ethical stresses of such scenarios. Sadly, American litigiousness limits the potential for such.
Digression / followup from something I wrote in the gerrymandering thread:
Looks like I won’t be missing much by not being able to vote in the GOP primary due to my tardy attempt to vote in the Dem primary:

(tl;dr: The leading candidate for the GOP nomination for CT Governor allegedly was naughty while she was mayor of New Britain, misusing city credit cards, so her campaign is over. In a separate news article, it’s mentioned that the case has been referred to the state prosecuter’s office.)
I liked Erin early in her career. Seems she might have gone off the rails lately.
The US is just getting stupid.
How sad that the authorities feel these kids need to be sheltered from the Roots story. Maybe Tennessee parents should watch a rerun of Roots with their kids if they can’t read the book.
In 1991 I was the actuary to the social security plans of The Gambia. I took my son to The Gambia on my business trip there. We did a “Roots tour” while there which was a great way to expose him to the obscenity of the slave trade. He totally appreciated it even though he was only 10 years old.
The reason for the ban is that there is a scene in which a slave is brutally raped, and including that violates state law.
We can’t have kids feeling bad about awful things that the US allowed. They might question the greatness of the US.
My apologies if this already appeared here, but…the things one will do for an endorsement.
