I’m not sure this is going to work out the way the Trump team thinks it will.
On paper, this cuts the wages farmers pay to seasonal farm workers. However, the combo of ICE raids on farms and greatly reduced wages may mean workers stay away. Georgia farmers are heavily dependent on seasonal agricultural workers, and the farms doing this right are bringing these workers here legally.
Interesting that the number of Mexican visitors has gone up at least 10%. It would be even more interesting graphic if there was some indication of absolute numbers.
