In about 8 years Iāll probably take a job at the gym front desk just for the group health insurance.

Youāll be surprised how affordable health insurance is in retirement. Once you stop working and your income is reduced you will be eligible for a bunch of subsidies
Even without subsidies, high deductible insurance is not so expensive that you will have to work a job while waiting to become Medicare eligible. Especially once the kids have heir own coverage brought work.

I want a PPO. The subsidized plans in my state donāt have that.
