Semi-isolated the in-person school kids yesterday. No one liked it (except me). Not going to work out. We will shift approach to “try not to be unnecessarily close to each other”. Similar action as when someone has a cold.
not sure if this has been covered yet, but if you get omicron before getting a booster is there any point at all in getting a booster rather than waiting until they have something better?
Wife and I are getting boostered in two weeks because booster shot is mandated by our workplaces. Recent positive Covid test did not impact timeline or deadline to get the shot with either organization which is pretty stupid imo.
I was just Google shopping for Binax tests. Was looking for the ‘available near me’ button and noticed that ‘new / used’ was an option. Some really great deals out there on used Covid tests, you guys.
So… relative that I have had close contact with tested positive.
Lab is brand new, and uses DOB to verify identity. DOB is wrong on the report, and relative was unable to get results for a bunch of hours before someone from the lab responded that they had corrected the DOB in the computer. Still wrong on the report. Sample collection date is listed as 1/13/2022.
So… how confident would you be in the actual test results when the lab report has two known errors on it?
I will isolate until I can get tested myself, but still…
