I can understand declining the call. What I don’t understand is why they didn’t call for help or update whoever was expecting them, given they had cell service.
I’m sure they were fine with their situation and weren’t worried about getting out. Just a little lost so they didn’t realize others would be worried about them so they weren’t in need of help.
Updating anyone who they told where they were going and when they would return when they didn’t return is a little more perplexing. But I’m with Kenny on wondering why the rescuers didn’t leave a message.
Can’t remember if I saw it here but there has been a meme going around on FB that says if you are lost and your phone battery is dying to change your outgoing voicemail message to include information about where you are and what you intend to do to try to get rescued.
So then rescuers respond.
And “Find my IPhone” capabilities?
“We’re sorry, but the user you’re trying to contact hasn’t activated their voice-mail account or has the service turned off.”

Weighing in at over half a pound, the roadrunner was more likely a male, a follow-up Facebook post stated this week.
