I lost the world’s most awesome cat when she was just shy of 9 years old. Should’ve had a bunch more time with her. We only had her for 3 months after her owner died but she was the sweetest thing ever and we fell in love with her about 30 seconds after we opened the crate and welcomed her to our home.
Sadly she had kidney disease and rejoined her original owner shortly after we got her.
So the dog is in her crate chewing up some trash as good dogs do. The cat is hovering on a speaker debating whether to try to make it to the mantle. My daughter is giving him the “Don’t you dare” tone so instead he jump on top of the dog crate and take swipes at the dog from above.
I was going to post in the insomnia thread but…it’s not really insomnia…I woke up in the middle of the night because the cat, μ, was giving me chest compressions.
