Congrats Ted.
Looks like the long break may’ve affected OldTimer… or it’s all part of a very very well-analyzed and thought-out plot here! ![]()

Thanks, AA. I was a little nervous down 2-1, but finally got in a groove. Hope to see you again next year, on the other side of the bracket!
… and OldTimer shows that the rust has been knocked off now - got the ol’ 2-throw combo in play to tie things up!

We were wondering what kind of match we’d end up with here, and we knew Game 4 would go a long ways in telling us… and it turns out we appear to be on the verge of a good ol’ back-and-forth slugfest! It took two throws, but Ted_Hoffman countered OldTimer’s Game 3 victory in Game 4 to even up the series 2-2.
So now we’re down to a Best-Of-Three series for the last seat in the Final Four - y’all can’t ask for better action than that!! ![]()

Late late 5/5 update (I’ll let you decide on the reason why…
)
Anyways, we are down to a Best-Of-Three match for the last spot in the Final Four. It’s been a tense match between Ted_Hoffman and OldTimer, with neither of them able to get more than a one game lead. We now have the pivotal Game 5 in hand…
Quick Summary:
![]()
(But y’all knew that, if you’ve been paying attention… and I know you have!
)
So which player is living on the edge?
Well, as usual it took a couple of throws…
…but it’s no more false steps for OldTimer now! ![]()
(But I still think you can’t rule out that was all part of the plan… ![]()
It’s getting tense, folks… and our next game could be the last one of the Elite Eight! ![]()

Is today the day??
Game 6 is now in the books! Will OldTimer rally to cause a Winner-Take-All Game 7, or will Ted_Hoffman finish the task, and become the only regional titleholder to successfully defend their region?
In other words, will we have

or

?
Either way, the
![]()
is no more.
Let’s see what happened:
R TedHoffman
R OldTimer
A tie!
(I guess we really shouldn’t’ve been surprised by that, given how many times these two fine competitors have gone multiple throws.)

I’d better use a rock to loosen the rust from my scissors, then wipe them clean with paper.
Well done Ted. You wore me down with a three week layoff and then zigged when I expected you to zag and the fat lady has sung.
Just so it’s clear, we appreciate the suspense element you provide along with this undertaking.
