Perhaps I spoke too soon…

Well, that changed in a hurry - just a moment ago I was commenting on how close these matches were, and the next thing I know…
:oh_noes: :oh_noes:

That’s right - one rock here, one rock there, and momentum has fully set in… we could be just two throws away from the finals!

Stay tuned to see if/how TedHoffman and skysn93 make their comebacks!

If this is my last throw, I’ve had lots of fun in this tournament, and I’m super excited to have a region named after me next year. This will be going to the top of my resume.

What an incredible Cinderella story - this unknown, comes out of nowhere, shocked everyone through 3 rounds, makes the Final Four. Now really filling the role of the underdog, has to make a big comeback, needs a win here to keep it going. Pressure’s on … he looks cool and calm … thinking it over … I think he’s ready to go, does he have the right call to keep this storybook tale alive.

:therethere: I’m with you, brother.

He makes … it looks like - could be … Beautiful throw.

Incredible throw, this usually reserved crowd at GoActuary goes wild.

A kid, actuary from a company in nowhere, overcame the odds just to be here, you wouldn’t believe it if it wasn’t happening. Cinderella story, happening before our own eyes. He has another throw, has to win this to keep the dream alive. Real underdog, pressure still on, he takes a deep breath. Still calm and composed, not awed by the moment. Needs another good throw, he sizes he up … can this Cinderella kid do it again.

The most important Game 6 to date!

As you may recall, TedHoffman’s come back from a 3-1 deficit to make it 3-2 in the battle for the other spot in the Finals, where soyleche waits for an opponent.

Can TedHoffman do it again, or will SteveGrondin finally wrap this up?

That’s - oh he got all of that one.

He’s gotta be pleased with that. Gutsy move, not a call many people are willing to make, but this young kid threw caution to the wind and went for it, and that’s why he’s here now.

The crowd is going wild at GoActuary, … for this young Cinderella, he’s come out of nowhere, rallied back from 3-1 down. And now, here we are, Game 7, final game, one last throw will decide it all.

This crowd has gone deadly silent. A former attorney, turned actuary, a Cinderella story out of nowhere. Could have been down and out by now, but he’s turned it around and has a shot for possible RPS glory. He settles in, looks focused but remarkably calm for the moment. Looks like – he’s probably going to throw a …

When Hollywood comes calling to make a movie of this epic, because it is indeed epic, I will insist Steve Buscemi plays me. They’ll say, “no, he’s too handsome for this role, we’re thinking Kevin James”, but I will insist. GL TH, we’ll see if my up a notch trash-talking will carry the day.
