Are you trying to get @ArthurItas?

Good game @OldTimer good luck against OutdoorAct. Watch out he will probably be throwing lots of rocks.

Thanks, GG from you too. My first rookie win is special to me.

GG @SteveGrondin – alas, poor, random.org, you are just not good enough

4-3, seems random enough.

Are those knuckles about to get crushed by a rock, or cut by scissors, or covered by paper? You will just have to wait and see.

Or knuckles cut by paper :wince:

Oooh, that’s a better threat. With some lemon juice too!

Do you need to find an intern to do your trash talking?

:pizza:

I did better than my dog at RPS last year, so … yes?

That’s because Chewy doesn’t have game. He swallows the rocks and chewed the paper.

We won’t have any quick summary updates for a while, as we’re just getting started in most of the Sweet Sixteen matchups here.

One item for y’all to ponder, though: it’s often wondered whether it’s better to have a bye in the opening round (and thus save your energy), or if it’s better to start off playing, and thus be fresh when going up against a player that’s coming off a bye. This year’s data is showing the opening match has gone 3-2 in favor of the player on bye so far (with one match to go). We definitely will be able to swing that story one way or another once we find out how Kid_Rock does (but we all know that you can’t really trust Kid_Rock in the early rounds - Kid_Rock makes sure the crowds are entertained, and thus tries to max out the number of games!). So maybe we’ve got all the real data we’re gonna get, from which we can conclude… something? :person_shrugging:

As for the remaining matches, just watch and appreciate the chess match that’s going on - who’s playing a certain way in Games 1 and 2 just to set up a combo in Games 4-6… yes, these players can be deep thinkers at time! Sit back and admire their craft… and keep those throws coming! :+1:

I know it’s early, but this round is giving off a different vibe than the prior round. Last round it seemed like every match was going to go the distance (and most did!). This round, however, we’ve got a lot of 2-0 leads, and more importantly, there’s no 1-1 matches. Granted, that’s on a huge sample of four matches that have made it that far, but still… it just feels a little different this time. At least for now.

Am I way off base here? Who knows? :man_shrugging: We’ll just have to have the players keep sending in those throws to find out! :+1:
