Rules are meaningless if they can’t be enforced by roving bands of masked men in full body armor and suppressed ARs with free reign to imprison and deport illegal immigrants and/or legal immigrants and/or dark skinned american citizens who may or may not have forgotten their passports on election day.
Utah’s map is still awaiting their Supreme Court’s decision. Politicians running for the 4 U.S. House districts don’t yet know exactly what part of Utah will be in which district. 
Meanwhile, north of the border…
I still hate that this is a thing we are doing now. VA redistricting referendum appears to have passed.

So old map was 28-10, new map is meant to be 32-6, with a possibility of 22-16 actual outcome. And state law prohibits redrawing maps for partisan gain.

She’s running for governor, and appears to be far ahead in the polling for the GOP nomination.

That can’t be done until gerrymandering is ended as it makes only the primaries matter.

Memphis joins Nashville in having been carved up.
For those keeping score at home, the populations of both Memphis (611k) and Nashville (705k) are slightly less than the Tennessee population per Congressional district (768 - 769k, depending on TN population estimate used), so there is no natural reason to divide either.

Not sure. It seems like there might be legitimate reasons for an investigation, so even though it is being launched for retaliatory reasons, it’s not on remotely the same level as the Comey 8647 tweet charges.
