Kemp romps to victory in Georgia governor primary

NBC News says that with 67% of the vote in, Kemp has over 72% of the votes.

If Trump had endorsed him instead of his challenger, would he have over 90%?

Kemp’s opponent was David Perdue. Many think Perdue might be a senator now, possibly one of two Republican senators from Georgia, if Trump hadn’t been obsessed with the Big Lie and Kemp’s refusal to overturn the voters’ wishes.

Raffensberger, who resisted Trump’s “request” that he “find” enough votes to overturn the voters’ will, was also renominated vs a Trump-endorsed primary challenger. Much closer that Kemp’s, but he still had over 50%, vs 34% for the Trumpie.
