Is inflation back?

I suspected this type of thing was going on in the background.

$3.3 million plus eggs with at retail value of $9.7 million seemed like a pretty small number. I had to do the math.

Cal-Maine sold about 38 billion eggs over the 3 year period. Their share of the settlement is about $5.9 million. That works out to $0.0018 per dozen eggs sold.

A fed governor(?) seems to be saying it never left…

Well, since the Y/Y was last below 2% in Feb 2021, the last 63 months the Y/Y has a min of 2.31%, a max of 9.06% and an average over that period of 4.49%. So I’m going to say she is right.
