Interesting. I discarded the idea of Pythagorean them.as being overdone, but applications to agriculture, that’s interesting.

One interesting topic is the statistics of dice games.

In particular the relative probability of different “middle” combinations when throwing two 6 sided dice, like a 6 vs a 5. Galileo wrote about it I believe,

It’s interesting in part because it is an empirical question. For example, you could roll a “1” on the first die, and a “5” on the second, or vice versa. We count those as two distinct outcomes. But for quantum dice they are not.

And it takes quite a bit of data, as i recall reading, to consistently detect the difference between these two scenarios (actual dice vs quantum dice.)
