I saw this great deal on Costco croissants so I had them delivered yesterday… A great deal…but at what cost? I soon discover that they expire today. What fate! It seems anything that sounds too good to be true is too good to be true. ---

You DO know that pretty much everything at Costco is for 10 people or for small businesses for resale? You have learned a valuable lesson. You’ll have two croissants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for four days straight, until they go bad. Maybe some as snacks. Or you can employ another house resident to help. And you won’t buy that many croissants (what is that, two packages?) again. ---

It’s OK to throw away half them, uneaten. The dozen or so that you did eat were still cheaper, and probably tastier, than the ones you buy at the local grocery store. ---
