I am going to buy this (these) today and reasons why

New car is now in garage, and the old one (now mine) is on the driveway. Yesterday, I cleared the memory of the in-car garage opener on the outside car. I bring a fob with me, or I use the key pad outside the second garage door.

Had to get a new garage door opener and get tension wires replaced. Also got new openers and got the car programmed too.

So is breaking into the car to break into the house a big thing where y’all are? I’ve not heard of that happening around me and until now I’d really not given it much of a thought.

The remotes arrived today and my wife was freaked out that I was going to give my daughter one. So we’ll apparently have a spare.

happened to me that one time, a few other cars also seemed to get hit. No damage, stuff gone through left pretty neatly on seat. nothing but some change taken. maybe 6 years ago.

My daughter and Son in law both had it happen a few weeks ago, almost identical MO. but they are in a different state

This came the other day. Looks great! I just plug the single cable from laptop to the other laptop. My major concern for my laptops is ventilation. Plenty of holes in these stands.

Arrived yesterday. Out of the box, it lacked a little treble and it had a bit of a bump around 150Hz, but then I downloaded the app to apply some EQ to it. It’s pretty impressive for $70, it goes pretty flat to 80Hz but has usable output to just below 60Hz. For something this small, that weighs ~4lb, and costs $70, I’m really happy.

Oh, it has LED lighting (that can be disabled), super gimmicky. They should delete this and cut the price $5. On the plus side, it’s waterproof (and floats) - I don’t plan on taking it in a pool but good to know.

That’s heavier than I expected. Our Bose only weighs 1.2lb, which is handy when we travel overseas (as suitcase weight is of a premium).

Totally. I travel with headphones or, for a flight less than ~3 hours, I just pack ear buds to save weight.

My wife discovered that ear buds do not drown out effing crying kids. I had my big phones on and heard nothing.

Both of mine have noise cancelling, the big ones work better but the ear buds are about 80% of the way there. I have Sony for both.
