# How do Germans move their kitchens without destroying them?

Pretty sure when I redid my kitchen, sledgehammers were involved. Now that brings up the question of how on Earth do the Germans take their entire kitchen with them when they move? How do they not destroy it in the process?

And, how does a German buy a kitchen for 10K euro anyway? American kitchens cost what, like $40K - $80K?

I assume they have standard sized cabinets and standard wall mounting systems.

US kitchens get expensive when you start tearing out walls and floors to replace everything. Swapping out cabinets and countertops could be a 20k DIY project.
