Unless it happens at one of the two get togethers I’m going to this month, one of which is not holiday purposed, I’ll probably make it through unscathed. Well, except for having it immediately pop into my head by reading this thread. I don’t drive to the office anymore, my spouse does the grocery shopping, and the kids are getting cash for Christmas, potentially via Zelle, since we’re not doing our traditional Christmas week at the beach.

Car radio was set to the Christmas music station as we went to get a tree. The danger of this didn’t click until I heard the song.

There’s so many damn covers of this song that I’m not sure I’d recognize the original. So far, I’ve only heard it sung by women, so I think that helps

Quick note: The Movie of the Same Name is not worth the effort once you’re out of the game. Emelia Clarke (Daenerys of “Game Of Thrones”) is in it, but that does not save it. Whole movie is about what happened approximately a year ago from the forthcoming December 25 (yes, I do not speak its name directly).

So far just a couple of covers, no WHAMmies! However in a cross-post to annoyed thoughts, have heard too many Santa Baby (incl Madonna :face_vomiting:)and Baby it’s Cold Outside covers to consider this a win.
