One side is the front, the other is the back. There is a right answer, but not telling what it is.

Original (same for front and back)

I voted, but didn’t understand “Don’t alter the originals”

Ah, yeah. Probably doesn’t make sense without seeing the post from the lounge first. This would be the original, front and back would be the same - I made two and am slicing them up and swapping pieces to make this.

I voted 1/6/8 and guess I would stick with that, but if I were buying it for myself I would probably stick with the original for simplicity. (OTOH, since I would be sharing it with my wife, I doubt the simplest one would be the family choice.)

I voted 7, 8, 10, but original is good.

I have to say these results are coming in much different than I’d expected!

What were you expecting? What is the right answer?

I did expect 8 to be the favorite, but I didn’t expect so much variety. Only one choice didn’t get picked here, and I’m also asking some people in real life, and some of them have said they liked 2 a lot. So literally all the options are likes by someone.

My favorites are 1, 8, and 11. I’m likely to end up making 8, but I am not completely sure. And 11 gives me pause, because it is the ONLY one of the bunch where I didn’t actually need to make two of these to pull off, and isn’t that kind of a waste?

The question now is, should I even make a single quilt of this, or make two, and use a plain backing?
