There should have been four or five of each of those items in the paintingâŚ
I donât get it.
Maybe Iâm glad the kid refused a pacifier although we tried during many sleepless nights and crying fits.
Spent 5 minutes listening to that song trying to figure out how those chairs fit in.
After all that I looked at the words.
It was wonderful that we didnât have to wean them off of the thing, but there were those times, when they were otherwise inconsolable, where it wouldâve been nice if they wouldâve taken it.
Our two daughters were so different. The first really liked pacifiers. The second as I recall only tolerated one about 4 times, with only one occasion for more than a minute.
all in all hated Pacifiers, but easier to ween than a thumb
What I hated even worse was the stupid nicknames they had. In my family growing up, it was referred to as a âtoochyâ :exams:
binkie - but I think it was the brand name
My oldest wouldnât take a bottle, pacifier, etc. at all and sucks her thumb, as does the second oldest. My third doesnât suck his thumb but has a pacifier. The fourth does neither so far, although heâs just 5 months old (exactly, as of today).
I think that was the brand. My siblings had binkies, although one preferred her thumb. I probably had one (canât remember any pictures with one off the top of my head), I donât remember what it was called. We didnât use them for our kids.
Neither thumb or pacifiers. Magic boobs only.
For my niece and nephew, I would just take the pacifier to the kitchen or bathroom, rinse it under some water and take it back. Worked fine most of the time.
thank you captain obvious, glad you have never been away from a clean water source
There was the one time in Punta Cana where I had to wipe the pacifier on my sleeve before giving it back to some friendsâ one year old son.
Iâm with @twig93 on this one!!!
Not talking about how you got thru exams. Stay on topic.
Is it bad that I usually just think: meh, thisâll help against allergies?
My in-laws freak out if the dog comes near the kidsâ food but I think thatâs perfectly fine (ofc one might prefer not to have their spoon slobbered on but in the case of the kid not minding a few face licks here and there)
I am disgusted by doggie drool. Not a germ issue though
