Have you tried the ‘made in England’ variety of Lea & Perrins? We’ve not but there are rumours that it’s somehow superior.
I just get the store brand.
We also use a fair amount of worcestershire sauce. Worcestershire + soy is a good base for many marinades for chicken and pork.
I buy some store brand stuff. IMO, Lea & Perrins is worth it. Also soy sauce, San-J is the bomb if you can get it. Kikkoman is acceptable.
