I have seen moose and squirrel in my neighborhood in CT.
Well . . . a moose once bit my sister!!
I’ve only seen squirrels and Russians n my part of CT.
I’m surprised that Utah is dark green indicating very low as I have seen moose and squirrels in Utah multiple times. I even have a picture of a moose lying next to a fire pit area at a large LDS girls camp site. Moose are not that unheard of sightings here.
There are plenty of moose in the mountains. The squirrels aren’t really the big bushy tailed ones like Rocky though. In the places with moose I see mostly chipmunks.
