ALTHOUGH . . . given the cost of (most) NFL games, I might just take my kid to a game (regardless of who’s playing) just to give them that experience and having “special time” with him/her.
Had a friend in the office whose wife called in and got Bears tickets for a preseason game. Only, my friend was a Vikings fan and wasn’t going to give it to any Bears fans (on principle). I was offered the tickets because the game was against the Broncos–of which, I’m a fan.
Needless to say, my son and I had a great trip.
I have used the line, when someone tells me their age.
